There’s nothing quite like the magic of a Fresh 48.
Even though I call them that, they’re really more like “Fresh 24s” — because these moments are captured just one day after birth. The room still holds the quiet intensity of what just happened. The love is thick. The bond is raw. And everything — from the sleepy cuddles to the wrinkly toes — is still so unbelievably fresh and pure.
These sessions are done entirely with natural light, which can be tricky in dim hospital rooms… but somehow, it always works out. The glow of new life has its own way of shining through.
And selfishly, these moments fill me with so much hope. Hope that one day I’ll experience this love again. Because that’s what these sessions are really all about — love in its most honest form.
