There’s something incredibly special about being invited into a family’s home to capture the love and connection that binds them. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family in Maplewood, as they celebrated a very important milestone—their baby girl turning one year old.
The family’s home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the kind of love that can only be found within the walls where memories are made. This session was more than just a photoshoot; it was a celebration of life, growth, and the joy that comes with watching your little one reach that first-year milestone.
As soon as I arrived, I could feel the excitement in the air. The family had chosen their home as the backdrop for these special photos, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. There’s something so intimate and meaningful about capturing moments in the space where a family lives, plays, and grows together. The star of the session was, of course, their sweet baby girl. With her big, curious eyes and infectious smile, she was the perfect little model.
